Grant Writer

The Township of West Orange is soliciting quotes for a Grant Writer to provide professional consultations on potential funding sources, research and prepare grant applications, and maintain communication with township department heads regarding grant opportunities. The vendor must be an independent contractor responsible for their own hours and taxes. A key responsibility is to obtain "New Grants" annually, totaling at least the amount paid to the vendor. The vendor is also required to submit an annual report to the Mayor and attend meetings to discuss grant timelines and statuses. A New Jersey Business Registration Certificate is mandatory.
