Grantwriter Services for the Township of West Orange

The Township of West Orange, New Jersey, is soliciting proposals through a fair and open competitive contracting process for Grantwriter Services. The selected independent contractor or firm will be responsible for providing professional consultations related to County, State, Federal, corporate, and private aid funds relevant to the Township's needs. The comprehensive scope of work includes researching, planning, preparing, submitting, and following up on all grant applications, ensuring continuous updates to Township Department Heads, and aiming to secure 'New Grants' annually totaling at least the vendor's compensation, excluding recurring entitlement grants. All grant applications require prior approval from the Township Council. Prospective contractors must meet specific minimum qualifications, including demonstrating at least five (5) years of experience in providing grant consulting and writing services specifically for municipal entities within the State of New Jersey. Bidders must also affirm they have sufficient staff to fulfill the scope of services and are in good standing within the state. Mandatory compliance is required with various New Jersey statutes, including N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.
