MINISH PARK (A.K.A. LANCASTER PARK) IMPROVEMENTS FOR: NEW COMMUNITY GARDEN AND BALLFIELD UPGRADES

The Township of West Orange is soliciting bids for the MINISH PARK (A.K.A. LANCASTER PARK) IMPROVEMENTS project, which includes new community garden construction and ballfield upgrades. Key elements of the project involve the reconstruction of an existing ballfield with new fencing, foul poles, bases, players benches, and spectator bleachers, along with minor drainage work. The scope also includes building a new community garden with twenty-two planting beds, a concrete patio, and a water hook-up. Additionally, approximately 190 linear feet of granite block curb and 700 square yards of new reinforced concrete sidewalk will be installed along Lancaster Terrace. Bidders must comply with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act and provide a Business Registration Certificate. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes with specific requirements, accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond not less than 10% of the bid amount. A Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Record of Recent Contract Awards are also required. Bids are due by Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
