MITCHELL STREET ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

The Township of West Orange is soliciting sealed bids for the Mitchell Street Road Improvements Project. The project generally includes milling approximately 2,100 square yards, resurfacing with 280 tons of surface course, installing 1,200 linear feet of curb, constructing 850 square yards of concrete sidewalk, building 15 decorative light foundations in coordination with PSEG, and laying 290 square yards of stamped concrete. Bidders must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) and possess a Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS) number. Compliance with Davis-Bacon wage rates and the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act is mandatory. Bids must be submitted with a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond of not less than 10% of the bid amount. A Consent of Surety statement, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and Record of Recent Contract Awards are also required. All work must be completed by November 30, 2023.
