Notice of Intent to Award Contract under a National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement

The Township of West Orange is issuing a notice of intent to award a contract for the purchase of one (1) ambulance. This purchase will be made under the Houston Galveston Area Council (HGAC-Buy) Contract # AM10-18, specifically for a Type 1 Ambulance, Ford F550, Model 603 VCI Emergency Vehicle Specialists. Information regarding the HGAC-Buy Cooperative Purchasing Agreement and the proposed goods and services from VCI Emergency Vehicle Specialists Inc. and the Township of West Orange is available on the Township's website (www.westorange.org) and the HGAC-Buy website (www.hgacbuy.org). The HGAC-Buy contract with VCI Emergency Vehicle Specialists is valid from October 1, 2018, to September 30, 2020. The Township of West Orange, as a member of HGAC-Buy since October 2014, is authorized to award contracts through this cooperative purchasing agreement. Any comments regarding this intent must be submitted in writing to the Township of West Orange, Purchasing Department, by 4:00 p.m. on October 9, 2020.
