Online Sale of Surplus Personal Property

The Township of West Orange is conducting an online public auction for surplus personal property no longer needed by the municipality. The auction will be held through GovDeals.com, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-36 and P.L. 2001, C. 30. The auction began on May 16, 2019, at 9:00 AM EST and concludes on May 23, 2019, at 7:00 PM EST. Interested parties can inspect items at the Department of Public Works yard by appointment. All sales are final and "as is, where is" with no warranties. Bidders must register online and acknowledge the terms and conditions. Payment is due within five business days of the auction's close, and item removal must occur within ten business days.
