Operation of Township of West Orange Recycling Center

The Township of West Orange is seeking proposals for the operation of its Recycling Center, located at 590 Mt. Pleasant Ave. The contract covers the operation of Class B and Class C exempt woods and compost operations, as well as the Recycling Convenience Center. Bidders must submit one original, two copies, and one PDF copy of their proposal on a CD-ROM. A bid bond or certified check for 10% of the proposal amount (not to exceed $20,000) and a consent of surety for a performance bond of 100% of the bid proposal are required. Corporations, partnerships, and sole proprietors must also submit a Disclosure of Ownership, a valid NJ Business Registration Certificate, and comply with New Jersey Affirmative Action requirements. Proposals were due by August 27, 2013, at 3:30 PM.
