RE-BID VALLEY ROAD REHABILITATION – FREEMAN STREET TO KINGSLEY STREET

The Township of West Orange is seeking sealed proposals for the RE-BID VALLEY ROAD REHABILITATION – FREEMAN STREET TO KINGSLEY STREET project. The scope of work includes resurfacing and rehabilitation of Valley Road, encompassing milling, asphalt overlay, base repair, curb replacement, installation of ADA curb ramps and bicycle-safe grates for inlets. The project also involves installing foundations and conduit for future decorative street lighting. Prospective bidders must be qualified contractors and are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) and have a Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS) number. Bidders must submit proposals on the prescribed forms and include a certified check or bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, not to exceed $20,000. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required from the awarded contractor. Bidders must also submit a Business Registration Certificate and a stockholder disclosure statement. Prevailing wage rates apply. The submission deadline is Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 10:00 AM.
