Request for Applications-Cultivators and Manufacturers (Retail)

The Township of West Orange is soliciting applications for a Resolution of Local Support for the Suitability of a Cannabis Business (Retail). This Request for Application (RFA) is for applicants seeking to establish a Cannabis Retailer, as defined by New Jersey state law. Applicants must adhere to specific zoning and land use requirements outlined in the Township's Municipal Code. The evaluation process will consider factors such as the proposed location's suitability, the business plan (including financial viability and market analysis), facility design and security, regulatory compliance, environmental impact, community engagement, and local support. A non-refundable application fee of $500 is required. Applications are due by March 4, 2022, at 2:00 PM and must be submitted to Paula Reynolds, Purchasing Agent, at the West Orange Township Hall.
