Request for Quote for Social Media Coordinator

The Township of West Orange is seeking a qualified Social Media and Marketing Coordinator for a part-time, independent contractor position. The role involves managing and administering the Township's social media outreach and marketing campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Key responsibilities include daily postings, interactions, graphic creation, responding to inquiries, and managing the "West Orange Jitney" Facebook group and text alert service. The coordinator will also develop and launch marketing campaigns to highlight the diversity of West Orange residents, promote local businesses, and create digital/physical assets. They will work to bridge the gap with the Board of Education for school initiatives and collaborate with local realtors to attract new residents and businesses. The contract duration is 12 months with an option for an additional 12 months, and proposals should be based on an annual amount paid in monthly installments.
