RFQ Professional Services - Affordable Housing Planner

The Township of West Orange is soliciting qualifications from interested individuals and/or firms for the position of Affordable Housing Planner for the 2025 calendar year. Qualified respondents must be New Jersey licensed firms or individuals with extensive experience in municipal planning, specifically concerning the Fair Housing Act, COAH, affordable housing issues, Master Plans, and the Affordable Housing Element of Master Plans. The primary individual assigned must have at least ten years of experience as a municipal planner with substantial affordable housing experience and hold a New Jersey Planner license. Submissions must include a comprehensive qualification statement detailing business information, experience, education, and references. The selection process will be "fair and open" in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 and will be evaluated based on experience, knowledge of the township, availability, cost, and utilization of local contractors. All submissions are due by April 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
