RFQ Professional Services - Municipal Planning Services-Township Planner

The Township of West Orange is seeking qualifications for Professional Municipal Planning Services - Township Planner for the 2024 calendar year. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) outlines the process for soliciting and evaluating proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide these essential planning services. The selected professional will work under the direction of the Township Engineer and will be responsible for duties as specified by New Jersey State Law, municipal codes, and regulations. Key responsibilities include attending Planning Board and/or Zoning Board of Adjustment meetings, providing design and plan reviews, offering engineering and planning advice, and performing surveying and construction observation services as needed. Professionals must be licensed by the State of New Jersey and have experience with local Redevelopment and Housing Law.
