Introduction to Ordiances 9 and 10

The Borough of Westville has introduced two ordinances for first reading. Ordinance 9-2025 proposes amendments to Ordinance 6-2024, specifically addressing Chapter 142, Section 5 regarding Construction Code Fees. Ordinance 10-2025 aims to repeal the existing Chapter 148, "Curfew," and replace it with a new chapter titled "Minors/Curfew" to establish curfew regulations and protect the health, safety, and welfare of minors and the community. A public hearing and further consideration for final passage of these ordinances will take place at the Borough Council meeting on October 27, 2025, at 6:00 pm in the Borough Council Chambers at 165 Broadway, Westville, NJ. Interested parties will have the opportunity to be heard at this time. Copies of the ordinances are available at no cost at the Municipal Clerk’s office, located at 165 Broadway, and on the municipal website.
